In 1997, my journey of life brought me to Spain. I used my passion for windsurfing and sailing to show people how great Mother Nature can be - floating over the water, powered by the wind & waves with the sun as its companion. What a fantastic ride! A chance encounter on the beach with Mike Brown lead to the formation of a special bond. Mike blended fire-spinning with martial arts and as a student of Wing Tsun Kung fu, I was intrigued. We shared our passions - his fire-spinning and my windsurfing.
Later that year, Mike joined Cirque du Soleil to create a signature fire performance in the show "O" - "The Fire Circle". By combining all elements of life, a masterpiece of modern entertainment was born. This has become my inspiration to perform, create and celebrate life!
Now in Toronto, I am fine-tuning my skills as a solo performer. As part of Circus Orange I work with an ensemble in creating pyro and fire spectacles. I am currently becoming a certified pyro & fireworks technician. Another aspect to add to the show!
